Landing Page Design for Promotion of Lawn Maintenance Services on Google Ads

Overview

All Over Landscaping is a well-established landscaping company in the Vancouver area. They have been servicing both residential and commercial clients for over 10 years. All Over Landscaping was looking to generate more leads online for their lawn maintenance service.

After speaking with them I determined that the best way to do this was through Google Search Text Ads. In order to run a successful PPC campaign, it’s extremely important to have a well-designed landing page to convert visitors into leads after they click on an ad.

Challenges

All Over Landscaping wanted to promote its services online but did not have a high-quality landing page to direct visitors to in order to convert them into leads. When they explained this to me, we knew that the best course of action was to create a highly optimized landing page to use with the promotion of their services.

Solution

Landing Page Design

We began the process by conducting an in-depth interview with All Over Landscaping to learn more about the company, the service that they wanted to promote and the best call to action to capture leads.

After the interview process, we learned that the best way for All Over Landscaping to capture leads was through both a phone call and through a contact form so they could capture leads both on the phone and via a free quote in exchange for an email via a form submission.

We began by designing the main hero image by adding clickable buttons for the two specific actions that they wanted visitors to perform on their site. We included a click to call “call us” button as well as a “get a quote” button that would redirect the visitor right to a contact form that they could fill out, which would be sent right to All Over Landscaping.

WeI then included a section that displayed the different types of services that were included in their weekly lawn maintenance plans. The section also included the two calls to action that they wanted visitors to perform.

Under the services section, we added a “why choose us” section that highlights some of the key benefits of All Over Landscaping’s Weekly Lawn Maintenance service.

At the bottom of the landing page, we added a functional map section that indicates the client’s service area as well as the address to their business. When clicked, the address section directs the visitor to the address via the map app on their mobile device.

Conversion Tracking Set Up

Once the conversion tracking was set up for the form submission, we then set up conversion tracking to track phone calls that resulted from the Google Ad. We did this by using a Google Forwarding Number, which would redirect to the client’s primary number and allow us to track the effectiveness of the ad and give us data that can be used in the future to improve the performance of the ad.

Results

Once we completed the project, All Over Landscaping had a fully optimized landing page to use to convert leads for their Weekly Lawn Maintenance service once they launched their Google Ads campaign.
